"Une Morsure" (3)This set of paintings are based on the idea of making something insignificant, such as a croissant, seem important or royal, with the addition of grand and intricate frames. The paintings were completed during my time in a village called Lacoste, located in the south of France. The pieces demonstrate the process of eating a croissant, which starts with a bite or, une morsure. The frames were inspired by frames seen in the Nîmes des Beaux Arts seen in Nîmes, France.
